When in Tokyo I visited Hitachino Nest above Tokyo Station. I really dig this city view. The menu was as educational as it was informative at @whiskeycoopny! Never mind that the chicken sandwich was the right kind of crispy and spicy, the choice of spirits were laid out in a clear to understand grouping of style and grain. I gravitated toward the Booker’s out of their dozens upon dozens of choices. After running a half marathon in Saratoga Historical State Park, I needed snackies and electrolytes: so I went to @activeingredientbrewing in Malta, NY! I loved the chemistry science lab classroom aesthetic, and one doesn’t need to study to score high on this vibe test! The Control Group NEIPA was tasty and citrusy (leaning on pomelo) and I’m always a sucker for spicy such as those in Pumpkin Pi.
