Belated #medalmonday ! This is an important once. I posted about the race before, I even uploaded a video to my YouTube. I am grateful to have completed my first ultra this past weekend in New Jersey. While I’m not sure the 50 K distance is for me, I’ve been thinking about registering for an event like this next year – maybe a spot of camping while seeing how many miles I can log over 24 hours (uncompetitively of course)! On a serious note, I have two crowlers left from @peekskillbrewery. I am cracking this one because it has been a roller coaster to get this race together: training for a marathon, postponement of marathon, injury, lack of training for weeks, dedicated sobriety until a spontaneous 50K to carpe diem… And I finished it.
